Nitrate reduction cartridge

High nitrate levels in UK drinking water is rare. However, the link between Nitrates and "blue baby syndrome" means that some parents prefer to adopt a "belt and braces" approach to ensure that the water they use to prepare baby food contains as little nitrates as is practical. These cartridges will need changing every 3 to 6 months dependent on the amount of water used and the water chemistry. Please note, the flow through this filter is relatively low (4 to 6 litres per minute) which means it is best fitted in a filter housing that feeds a separate sink top drinking faucet.
